Turkish Circuit Racing Championship Round 2 Delivers Breathtaking Action

The second-round races of the AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER) at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and the support of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, produced intense competition. At the event, held on 20-21 August, Ramazan Kaya won the opening Super Group race, ahead of Andrea Furci of Liqui Moly H2K Racing Team in second and Azizhan Kaya in third. In Sunday's second race, Kemal Gürsoy of Ülkü Motorsport took victory, with Andrea Furci second and Azizhan Kaya third. In the Maxi Group, Bitci Racing drivers, who also took the teams' title, dominated the podium in both races. Barkın Pınar won the first race, with Turgut Konukoğlu second and Seda Kaçan, the only woman in the field, third. In the second race, Turgut Konukoğlu won, ahead of Barkın Pınar in second and Zekai Özen, a karting driver competing in his first circuit race, in third. At the prize-giving ceremony held at the end of the event, the trophies were presented to the top finishers by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Yaşar Çakmak and KOSDER President Ceyhun Yalçın.
