2. Which personal data do we process?

Our site has no membership, comments or forms; we do not collect identity information such as name, surname or phone number from our visitors. When you visit our site, the following data may be processed:

  • Transaction security data: IP address, date and time of visit, page visited, browser and device information (server and security service logs).
  • Usage (analytics) data: only if you consent to cookies, online identifiers, pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type and referral source via Google Analytics.
  • Contact data: the name, email address, phone number and message content you provide if you contact us by email or phone.

On-site statistics: To understand how our site is used, we perform cookie-free measurement on our own server. This records the page visited, the time of the visit, the referral source (e.g. search engine, social media), device type, browser and operating system, approximate location at country/city level, time spent on the page and how much of the page was read. Your IP address is not stored; to distinguish visits from each other within a day, a short irreversible digest is generated from the IP address and browser information using a secret key that changes every day. This digest cannot be used to link visits on different days or to identify you.

3. For what purposes do we process your personal data?

  • Ensuring the secure and uninterrupted operation of the site and preventing attacks and misuse,
  • Fulfilling obligations under Law No. 5651 and related legislation,
  • Measuring how the site is used through anonymous statistics and, with your consent, through Google Analytics, and improving our content,
  • Responding to the requests, questions and complaints you send us.

4. Legal grounds

  • Transaction security data: KVKK Art. 5/2-ç (compliance with a legal obligation) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller),
  • On-site (cookie-free) statistics: KVKK Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller),
  • Google Analytics and analytics cookies: your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1; you may withdraw your consent at any time,
  • Contact data: KVKK Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-f (necessary to respond to your request, and legitimate interest).

5. How data is collected

Your data is collected automatically while you visit the site through server logs, the security service and (with your consent) cookies; and by email and phone if you contact us.

6. Transfer of data

Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above, to the following service providers we work with. As the servers of these providers may be located abroad, transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK:

  • Hosting service — the servers the site runs on,
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery and security (attack protection) service,
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Analytics, only if you consent to analytics cookies.

Data may also be transferred to authorised public institutions and judicial authorities upon request, as required by law.

7. Retention periods

  • Server and security logs: for the period required by law (up to 2 years),
  • On-site statistics: raw page-level records for 60 days; after that only daily totals that cannot be linked to a person are kept,
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months,
  • Contact correspondence: 2 years from the conclusion of the request.

Data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Turkey or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its erasure or destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom it was transferred; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You can send your requests in writing, together with information identifying you, to the address above or to turkmotorspor@gmail.com, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
