Smoke Fills the Air at Izmir

The opening round of the 2022 Apex Masters Turkish Drift Championship will be held by Drift Otomobil Sporları Kulübü at the Izmir Ülkü Park Race Track on 27-28 August. The event begins on Saturday 27 August with administrative and technical checks. Practice follows, then qualifying runs that will determine the top 16 drivers. On Sunday 28 August, the programme gets under way at 13.00 with the driver presentation ceremony. Spectators will then have the chance to get up close to the drift cars, as well as chat with the drivers and collect signed posters. After the head-to-head knockout battles, the event will conclude with the final pairings.
