AVIS TPŞ Round 5 Races Completed
The fifth round of the AVIS 2026 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship, organised by TOSFED with the support of AVIS, Spor Toto, Tuzla Municipality and Salados, was completed in front of 11,000 spectators.
In an event that saw 20 competitors battle across the Maxi Group and Super Group, Galip Atar of Ülkü Motorsport won the first Maxi Group race, with Texaco Team AMS driver Seda Kaçan Bakan second and her team-mate Berk Kalpaklıoğlu third. In the second race of the day, Kamil Çat of SESA European GT Team took the top step of the podium, with Seda Kaçan Bakan finishing second and Galip Atar third.
In the Super Group, Orçun İnce continued his winning streak in round 5, finishing first in both races. Ülkü Motorsport's Emre Can Ünal took second in the first race and third in the second, while Recep Çelikkanat was runner-up in the second race and Ülkü Motorsport's Sadi Angılcı finished third in the first.
Ülkü Motorsport won the teams' classification in the first race, while the winners' trophy in the second race went to SESA European GT Team. In the women's classification the order was the same in both races: Seda Kaçan Bakan first, Sevde Zehra Yıldırım second and Selen Aktaşgil third.
The AVIS 2026 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will conclude with the sixth-round races, to be held alongside the GT Grand Final at TOSFED Istanbul Park on 7-8 November.
