Star Hopefuls Counting Down the Days

With the aim of discovering young talents who will represent Turkey successfully on the international stage, the Turkish Motorsport Federation (TOSFED), which carries out social responsibility work, is staging the TOSFED Is Looking for a Star project for the third time this year, sponsored by Fiat and Petlas.
The project aims to develop young drivers such as Ayhancan Güven, who represents Turkey successfully on the global stage, and to encourage young licence holders under 28 to compete on circuits rather than on the streets. As talented competitors are discovered, interest in motorsport will also be stirred. Thanks to the project, now in its third year, 10 male and 3 female drivers will compete in the four-race 2019 TOSFED Is Looking for a Star series.

Chance to race Egea race cars at no cost
As part of the project, the 10 male and 3 female drivers selected after training and the final selection rounds will get the chance to compete in specially prepared Fiat Egea race cars without paying anything. Applicants must be under 28, hold a driving licence, have completed at least middle school and have no health problems. A clean criminal record is also among the criteria.
The project is open to all young people who believe in their talent and in themselves, with participation limited to 1,000 people. Applications can be made until 31 March 2019 at www.tosfedyildiziniariyor.com.
