Warmhaus Summer Cup Set to Kick Off at Izmir Ülkü Park
The ‘Warmhaus Summer Cup’, eagerly awaited by racing fans, gets under way on Sunday 30 April at Izmir Ülkü Park Race Track. A field of 19 talented and ambitious drivers will start in the Diesel, Super and Group 1600 A classes. The race, sponsored by Warmhaus Kombi and Radiators, begins at 12.30 and will be streamed live on the Ülkü Park Instagram page @ulkupark.
The drivers competing in each class are: in the Super Group, in Honda Civic Type-Rs, Yağız Gedik, Çağlayan Çelik, Metin Çalışkan, Hakan Mete Kutay and Hüseyin Yıldırım. In the Diesel Group, in VW Polo TDis, Ozan Süzgün, Oğuzhan Usta, Gökhan Usta, Emre Fatinoğlu, Uğur Fatinoğlu, Fatih Yiğit, Y.Emre Küçükbekir and Osman Demirel. Finally, in Group 1600 A, Mustafa Nazik in a Peugeot 106 GTI and Kaan Kara in an Opel Corsa GSI…
The ‘Warmhaus Summer Cup’, where the rivalry will run at its hottest, will consist of five rounds, with the season calendar as follows:
Round 1 … 30 April
Round 2 … 16 July
Round 3 … 13 August
Round 4 … 10 September
Round 5 … 22 October
Once the opening round of the ‘Warmhaus Summer Cup’, starting on Sunday 30 April, is over, the final dress rehearsal will take place for the eagerly awaited V1 Challenge. Behind the wheels of the Volkicars, which attract great interest from racing fans, will be Adem Çetmen, Hüseyin Çetmen, Ersin Yücesan, Çağlayan Çelik, Emir Ay, İhsan Pekayla, Sami Bölükbaşıoğlu, Kamil Çat, Yavuz İpçi, Galip Atar, Emir Özkan, Murat Aksüt and Kaan Yüksel. The race starts at 16.00 and, as with every Volkicar race, is sure to get pulses racing.
