Boyabat Ready for Major Event

Round 1 of the 2017 Turkish Off-road Championship will be held in the Boyabat district of Sinop on 29-30 April 2017, organised by the Sinop Off-Road Club (SİNOFF). One of the most important sporting events of the year in the region, the event is being staged with the support of the Sinop Governorship, Boyabat District Governorship, Boyabat Municipality and the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports.

The course, built in the Daylı Village new bus station area of Boyabat, has been prepared with great care to offer spectators an enjoyable, easy-to-follow viewing experience.

The event, which opens the off-road season, will begin on Saturday 29 April at 12.00 with a ceremonial start in front of the old bus station in the city centre. The adrenaline-fuelled obstacle courses are expected to produce intense battles on the first day in the Tayyareci Nuri Bey stage, and on the second day in the Şehit Ömeroğlu Mustafa stage.

The excitement will continue on Sunday with a start at 11.05 in the Daylı Village stadium area, and will conclude with the awards ceremony at 19.30 at the Boyabat Municipality Cultural Centre.
