V1 Challenge Heads to Körfez

With consultancy from Volkan Işık and his team, the excitement in the V1 Challenge – organised by the İzmir Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü with Turkish-built Volkicar race cars – continues at Körfez Race Track.

The V1 Challenge offers a completely different kind of adrenaline, with its competitive spirit, ever-rising excitement and spectacular racing, and this Sunday the season heads into its fifth corner at İzmit Körfez Race Track. Two races are held at every round of the cup, and a total of 17,000 TL in prize money goes to the drivers who take to the podium over the two races.

With the end of the season approaching, races nine and ten of the year promise a fierce fight. The top three drivers still in the hunt for the overall "Gold Cup" – Burak Çukurova, Ayhancan Güven and Göksun Erkek – will be looking to make their mark at Körfez this weekend.
