TOSFED Star Search Qualifying Gets Under Way

The qualifying rounds of the 'TOSFED Star Search' project, run by TOSFED with FIAT sponsorship to give young drivers aged 18-25 the chance to go racing, are being held from 10-13 August at TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit.
Petlas, Spor Toto, Redbull.com, Beybi Eldiven and Uludağ İçecek are supporting the qualifying rounds, in which 333 candidates, 22 of them women, are competing. After the four days of qualifying, 45 people will earn a place in the finals to be held in September: the top 10 male drivers from each group, plus 5 female drivers from the women's qualifying.
The candidates will then attend a two-day camp, also at TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit, with accommodation costs covered by TOSFED. During the camp the candidates will receive theoretical and practical training in advanced driving techniques and sporting driving techniques, before competing against the clock at the end of the second day. 10 male and 2 female drivers will earn the right to compete in the 'TOSFED Star Search' project.
