Young Kolot Gains Experience in Belgium

Our 10-year-old national karting driver Ömer Asaf Kolot took to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on 5-6 August for round four of the Belgian Max Challenge.
Finishing the final race in sixth, Ömer Asaf put up a good fight in closely contested races decided by tight margins, and picked up valuable points to remain fifth in the Micro Max class among 18 drivers on 135 points.
Competing with the Bouvin Power team in a series featuring drivers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Japan, Kolot said after the race that he was very pleased with his performance and that racing in an international series such as the Belgian Max Challenge was giving him a great deal of experience. "There is so much to learn and experience at every stage of karting, and what matters is what you gain from it," the driver said.
Our young driver Ömer Asaf Kolot will get behind the wheel again at the Mariembourg circuit on 16-17 September for the next round of the Belgian Max Challenge.
