Hill Climb Finale Held at Kazan, Ankara

The final round of the Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), the Kazan Hill Climb, was held on Sunday 9 November 2014 in the Kazan district of Ankara.

Run over two ascents of the 8.5 km course by the Ankara Automobile Sports Club (ANOK), the event was organised jointly with the Engelsiz Motorsporları Kulübü, the Yön Sanat Derneği and the World Cerebral Palsy Association. Erman Eranıl, vice-president of the Engelsiz Motorsporları Kulübü, also started the event as co-driver in the lead car driven by Sinan Saatçi.

The event ended with class wins for Çağlar Ünvar (Renault 11 TXE) in Category 1, Cem Şit (Opel Astra GSI) in Category 3, Kadir Altuntaş (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX) in Category 5 and Ümit Ülkü (Porsche 997 GT3) in Category 6. Taner Canbolat took second place in Category 3, while Sinan Özdil and Galip Atar did not reach the finish.

The championship titles were shared by Engin Apaydın from Bursa in Category 1, Egemen Çivicioğlu from İzmir in Category 2, Taner Canbolat from Antalya in Category 3, Taner Şengezer from İzmir in Category 4, Kadri Murat Altuntaş from Ankara in Category 5 and, again from İzmir, Ümit Ülkü in Category 6, while Ülkü Motorsport won the 2014 Turkish Hill Climb Teams' Championship.
