Turkmotorspor, the independent news platform that has followed every motorsport discipline in Turkey since 2015, wanted to mark its 12th anniversary with 12 photographs and 12 short stories from our archive.
2015
The final two races of the 2015 TOSFED Rallycross Cup were organised by BOSSEK and KOSDER on the Orhangazi course on the shores of Lake Iznik in Bursa. Twelve competitors from Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Muğla and Northern Cyprus battled across three categories, and rounds 3 and 4 of the TOSFED Rallycross Cup produced fierce competition.

2016
Rally Marmaris Turkey, organised by TOSFED on 13-15 May and part of the 2016 European Rally Cup and the 2016 Turkish Rally Championship, ended with victory for the Yağız Avcı-Bahadır Gücenmez crew, who competed for Neo Motorspor in a Peugeot 208 T16 R5.

2017
Since 2004, 19-year-old Ayhancan Güven has claimed countless podium finishes in national and international series such as the Turkish Karting Mini Championship, the South-East European Karting Championship, the WSK World Karting Championship, the Italian Karting Championship and the FIA European Karting Championship. As the 2016 Champion of Champions, the young competitor proved right those who had believed in him.

2018
Red Bull Car Park Drift, Turkey's biggest drifting event and one of the most eye-catching branches of motorsport, was held in Istanbul, where the country's best drifters showed what they could do.

2019
Representing Turkey in the Porsche Supercup with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Spor Toto, TOSFED and Pierre Martinet, 21-year-old national driver Ayhancan Güven finished second in both of the series' final two races in Mexico. He ended the 2019 season second in the championship standings and as the rookie champion.

2020
Rally Turkey, the fifth round of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship, also hosted the first two rounds of the 2020 Turkish Rally Championship with 37 crews entered. On the demanding rally, the Yağız Avcı-Onur Vatansever crew, driving a Citroën C3 R5 for Adus Motorsport with Red Bull support, won both rallies to make a fast start to the championship.

2021
BOTAV Rally Bodrum, the opening round of the 2021 Demir Berberoğlu Season and the Şevki Gökerman Rally Cup, was run by KAROSK on 10-11 April with 81 cars and 162 competitors. The successfully completed event drew great praise from the authorities and participants.

2022
The final round of the 2022 Turkish Rallycross Championship, organised by TOSFED at Körfez Race Circuit, was contested by 17 competitors across four categories. In Category 4, Çağlayan Çelik, driving an aloft Hotel-backed Ford Fiesta Rally3, took the title.

2023
At the fifth round of the 2023 Extreme Cup in Pendik, the off-road contest, in which 4x4 vehicles tackled tough obstacles, was breathtaking. At the event, organised with the contribution of Pendik Municipality, a large crowd watched two days of thrilling competition without drawing breath.

2024
Sarıkamış Rally, the opening round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2024 Turkish Rally Championship, was held in Kars on 23-25 February. Organised with the support of the Kars Governorship, Kars Municipality, Sarıkamış District Governorship and Sarıkamış Municipality, and sponsored by Duja Hotels, VST Tour, ICRYPEX, Spor Toto, Remed Assistance, Salados, Power App and Fora Araç Takip, the rally attracted 26 cars and 52 competitors.

Ömer Tolon, a member of the Board of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation, a successful competitor and a businessman, sadly lost his fight for life on Wednesday 30 April, after battling for about two months following an accident.

2026
TransAnatolia 2026, Turkey's toughest rally raid, concluded after a long marathon that started in Istanbul and ended in Ankara. Competing in a Suzuki Grand Vitara for Ege Asal Motorspor, the Mithat Diker – Erdal Oral crew reached the finish despite all their technical problems, taking second in the overall car classification and winning Class 2.
