TOSFED Financial General Assembly Held
The Financial General Assembly of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) was held in Ankara on Tuesday 13 October 2026.

At the general assembly, chaired by Mitat Ülküden, the activity and audit reports were approved, and the estimated budgets for 2027-2028 were also discussed and approved.
In his address to the general assembly, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said that the federation taking over the operation of Istanbul Park was a turning point. "It gives us great happiness and pride to see the added value created by TOSFED Istanbul Park begin to be felt across our whole community. Indeed, this development was also a very important milestone in the return of the Formula 1 World Championship to our country. With the synergy and value created by F1, we will take all branches of our sport even further together."
Üçlertoprağı said that extensive renovation work is under way at Istanbul Park, which will host the F1 Turkish Grand Prix for five years from 2027. "We are carrying out a very comprehensive renovation and modernisation project at the facility under the auspices of our ministry. An international karting circuit will also be built inside the track. That way, we will have the chance to nurture the champions of the future too."
Üçlertoprağı, who has led TOSFED since 2019, said they had turned the federation into one with solid financial foundations, which is held in respect and admiration within the international racing community, breaks spectator records in the grandstands, has opened new karting circuits to the community, sees its athletes abroad win trophies for the country almost every week, and has produced world champions.
