Final Tarmac Rally Heads to Bursa

The 40th Yeşil Bursa Rally, the third and final tarmac round of the 2015 Turkish Rally Championship, is being organised by the Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK) on 13-14 June.

Supported by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Crowne Plaza Bursa, Toktaş Otomotiv Hankook and Störer Kentvizyon, the event will also award points to the Turkish Historic Rally Championship and the TOSFED Rally Cup.

The rally starts at 13:00 on Saturday 13 June in front of the Merinos Atatürk Culture and Congress Centre, with the opening stage a spectator special stage in the Metropolitan Municipality's Kültürpark. The crews will then head for the service park opposite Crowne Plaza Bursa, before tackling the Dağgüney stage, which will run under the Crowne Plaza name for this rally, and then the Firoz stage, each twice. From 17:53 they will wrap up the day with service and then the overnight park.

The crews take to the wheel again at 09:00 on Sunday 14 June, running the Crowne Plaza, Firoz and Delice stages before servicing their cars in the service park from 12:40. They will then head towards Keles to run the same three stages once more, and over the 503-kilometre rally, with 140.15 kilometres of special stages in total, they will battle hard to reach the finish podium in front of Crowne Plaza Bursa at 17:00.

Ahead of this event, Murat Bostancı and Onur Vatansever of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye lead the Turkish Rally Championship standings on 40 points. Yağız Avcı and Bahadır Gücenmez of Neo Motorspor are second on 34 points, with Orhan Avcıoğlu and Burçin Korkmaz, also of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, third on 26 points.
