Super Production Class Proves a Hit on the Circuit

The opening races of the 2019 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship are being organised by Kocaeli Otomobil Sporları Kulübü at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit on 21-22 June. A total of 27 cars will compete across three separate classes – Super, Maxi and Super Production. The newly created Super Production class, which is open to cars with 1.6 turbo engines that are standard apart from certain permitted modifications, is expected to produce a fierce fight.
The programme begins on Friday 21 June 2019 with the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor 2019 final selection rounds. Held in two groups between 11.30 and 15.30, the selection rounds will see the fastest 10 men and 3 women out of 65 candidates earn the right to compete in the 2019 series. The first day will conclude with practice and qualifying for Super, Maxi and Super Production between 15.30 and 18.30.
On Saturday 22 June, following official practice, the first races for Super and Maxi will be run at 11:30 and for Super Production at 12:30, with the second races at 14:00 and 16:00. The opening race of the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor 2019 series will start at 13.15.
