Kaya Wins Nürburgring 4 Hours

2021 Nürburgring Endurance Series SP8T champion Mustafa Mehmet Kaya took a class win in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN) Cup2 Pro-Am category, part of round four of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, a four-hour race held on 25 June.
Sharing the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with Mike Stursberg and Jörg Bergmeister, Kaya took the chequered flag 15th overall and won the 14-car class, scoring valuable points.
Another Turkish driver who has competed in the Nürburgring Endurance Series for the past three years, Emir Aşarı, left round four with third place in the SP3T class in a VW Golf TCR alongside Andrew Angelmann and Benjamin Leuchter. Running second in the opening quarter of the race, Aşarı and team-mates were slowed by a power steering pump failure, but the result kept them at the top of the championship standings.
The 2022 Nürburgring Endurance Series continues on 9 July with the six-hour fifth round.
