Kuzey on the Podium at Misano in Northern Italy

The opening round of the Trofeo Abarth 500 Challenge, in which 18-year-old young driver Kuzey Eroldu is representing Turkey this season, took place on 1-2 April. Kuzey finished the first race of the weekend, held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy, in second place to claim a podium.

The opening round of the cup, run over two separate races, featured a fierce fight between 11 identical Fiat 500 Abarth cars. In the second race, the young driver spun and lost positions, taking the chequered flag in fifth.
