BCVM Drivers Open Season at Sanremo

Celebrating its 26th year in motorsport this year, BC Vision Motorsport, led by team director Burak Çukurova, took the first start of its 2017 season in Italy.

The team made a very strong start to Rally Sanremo, where it entered three crews, and had all of them inside the top 10 when the first three stages were complete. However, the crews were caught out by heavy rain on dry tyres in the second loop, and went on to finish ninth, 11th and 18th in the rally's national classification.
Burak Çukurova-Vedat Bostancı won the R5 class in a Hyundai i20 R5, while Uğur Soylu-Aras Dinçer took second in the same class in a Skoda Fabia R5. The team's other crew, Ahmet Burkay-Burak Akçay, competing in an S1600 car for the first time, claimed third in the S1600 class.
