Action-Packed Weekend at Körfez

Round 4 of the AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship is being held on 22-23 October at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track, organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER) with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and support from Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. With 13 drivers competing in the Super class and eight in Maxi, the races are expected to deliver fierce battles over the two days.The first Super class races will be run from 15.00 on Saturday 22 October. On Sunday 23 October, the second Super class race takes place at 13.30, followed by the second Maxi class race at 15.00, before the event wraps up with the prize-giving ceremony at 16.00.The event will also host the races of the 'TOSFED Is Looking for a Star' project, which has been run with FIAT as title sponsor since 2017. This year, a total of 522 candidates, 34 of them women, took part in the selection rounds. The 10 men and four women who made it through will compete in three different formats for the chance to become the female and male star of 2022. Racing Fiat Egea cars, the candidates will be pushing hard to score the highest points across all three days. The event, which will be spiced up by displays from Turkish Drift Championship drivers, can be watched free of charge.
