Konukoğlu and Furci Make a Fast Start

Round one of the AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship was organised by Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü at Ülkü Park Circuit. At the first circuit round of the 2022 season, backed by title sponsor ICRYPEX, 23 competitors took part: 12 in the Super class and 11 in the Maxi class.In the Super class, Liqui Moly H2K Racing Team's Andrea Furci won both races. Ömer Şanlı took second and Ramazan Kaya third in the first race, while Ülkü Motorsport's Ümit Ülkü was second and Ömer Şanlı third in the second. In the Maxi class, the top three did not change across either race. Bitci Racing's Turgut Konukoğlu ended the weekend with a double victory, with team-mate Barkın Pınar second and Ayhan Göllü third. Seda Kaçan, the first female driver to compete in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship in 30 years, finished sixth in the Maxi class on the opening day and fifth in the second race.The AVIS 2022 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship continues with round two on 20-21 August at the TOSFED Körfez Race Circuit.
