Pekal Brothers Win in Ankara

The third round of the Petlas 2022 Turkish Off-road Championship was organised by the Ankara Nature Sports and Off-road Club (ANDOFF) in Kızılcahamam on 18-19 June. The event, part of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) national racing calendar with ICRYPEX as title sponsor, attracted 31 vehicles and 62 competitors across five classes. The crews tackled a 10-kilometre endurance stage in Demirciören on the first day and a 4.5-kilometre spectator stage on the second, providing plenty of excitement for onlookers.Doğukan Pekal-Batuhan Pekal, the brothers, took the overall win and the Class 4 victory, while Kenan Özsoy-Harun Özsoy finished second overall and won the SSV class, with İsmail Ayhan-Arda Arslan completing the overall podium in third. The other class wins went to Ergün Çirkin-Hande Karaağaç in Class 3, Zeki Karaçaylı-Okan Dilberoğlu in Class 2 and Baki Arpasatan-Alaaddin Yorulmaz in Class 1, while ANDOFF Offroad Team took the teams' victory.The Petlas 2022 Turkish Off-road Championship continues with round four, organised by Trabzon Offroad Club on 6-7 August.
