Kaan Önder Joins Audi Sport TT Cup

Kaan Önder, an 18-year-old Turkish national driver who began his motorsport career in karting in 2007, is ready for the Audi Sport TT Cup, which he will contest this season. Önder prepared for the season under the guidance of multiple-time WTCC champion Andy Priaulx and with the support of iZone Driver Performance.

Önder, who will compete in the Audi Sport TT Cup this season, will start in 12 races. Six races will be held as a DTM support series, with the new Audi TT race cars being used.

The series gets under way alongside the opening DTM round on 1-3 May, and the official tests were held at Hockenheim on 25 April.

Kaan Önder:

"We went through a long preparation period to race in the Audi Sport TT Cup. To bring my performance up to the best possible level, I concentrated on both mental and physical conditioning. To get used to the new TT, we tested for two days in Barcelona. Compared with the driving technique I was used to, a front-wheel-drive car is very different. Thanks to Andy Priaulx's support and the iZone Performance training, I can see I'm part of a great team and I feel very well prepared. I'm looking forward to the race at Hockenheim."
