Podium Target at Imola

One of the toughest races of the 3H Endurance Champions Cup, the Italy-Imola round, takes place on Saturday 30 September at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. On the 4.9-kilometre circuit, the Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) team will field a BMW Z4 GT3 for Turkish drivers Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık and Fatih Ayhan, while Gedik Ebam Motorsport (GEM), also with a BMW Z4 GT3, will line up Ahmet Mutlubaş, Ayhan Germirli and Yağız Gedik.
In the non-stop three-hour race, contested by 12 crews and 35 drivers, driver changes will take place when the cars are obliged to enter the pits for refuelling and tyre changes, with each driver spending roughly one hour behind the wheel.
Both teams collected important points with their results in the opening races of the season at Mugello, Brno and Misano, and their goal at Imola is to share the podium and hear the Turkish national anthem played. Gedik Ebam Motorsport, who go into this race second in the cup standings, aim to move into the lead with this result and to close the season as champions.
We wish our drivers every success in this demanding race.
