Hitit Rally to Be Held in Çorum This Weekend

The fifth round of the TOSFED Renç Koçibey Rally Cup, the Çorum Belediyesi 44th Hitit Rally, will be organised in Çorum by the Ankara Automobile Sports Club (ANOK) on 30 September-1 October.The rally will begin on the first day at 16:00 with a ceremonial start in front of the Çorum Clock Tower in Hürriyet Square, and the spectator stage will once again be held at the TSO Fairground, as in previous years, starting at 16:48.
On the second day, run on gravel, the crews will complete the rally by tackling three passes each of the stages named Kadesh and Hattusa, in honour of the Hittites, the region's most important tourism draw and the reason the rally is organised in Çorum. The event will conclude on Sunday at 15:50 with the finish podium and prize-giving ceremony, again in front of the Clock Tower.Twenty-five crews will compete in this year's 44th Hitit Rally, which carries the slogan "Dört Dörtlük Ralli" ("A Perfect Rally").
