Young Türkkan Retains Championship Lead

The V1 Challenge Round 2, organised by İzmir Ülkü Motorsports Club, once again delivered breathtaking battles. In a day of fierce competition at the Ülkü Park circuit, different drivers stood on the podium in each of the day's two races.
In the opening race, which featured 14 drivers on the grid in the V1 Challenge, a series that stands out for its competitive format, TOSFED-backed young driver Ali Türkkan took the win, with last year's champion Burak Çukurova second and Çağlayan Çelik third.
FIRST WIN FOR ÜMİT ERDİM
Under the V1 Challenge's competitive format, the top 12 drivers are reversed on the grid for the second race. Starting fifth, Ümit Erdim made an excellent start and took the lead at the first corner. Erdim led the 12-lap race from start to finish, scoring the first win of his career in his fourth season in the V1 Challenge. In a race where the order changed every lap amid intense competition, Ali Türkkan finished second and Burak Çukurova third.
ALİ TÜRKKAN LEADS
TOSFED-supported young talent Ali Türkkan retains the championship lead after two rounds and four races, with three wins and one second place giving him a total of 83 points. Çağlayan Çelik is second on 66 points and Burak Çukurova third on 63.
