Second Alpsoy Era at Ege Asal

Enis Alpsoy, who previously served as team director of Oil Company and Opel Team Türkiye, will manage the Ege Asal Motorspor team in the 2025 season.

Veteran rally driver and Ege Asal Motorspor team owner Mithat Diker, who offered Alpsoy the team director's role, said after shaking hands on the deal: "I believe we will gain great momentum in the new season." Having been part of the motorsport community for many years as both competitor and administrator, Alpsoy will take on financial responsibility at Ege Asal Motorspor in addition to the team director's role.

In the 1990s, Alpsoy was appointed director of the Oil Company team, made up of Mithat Diker-Cengiz Alpsoy and Vedat Diker-Erdal Oral, following the late Mazhar Demiralp. Oil Company, a textile firm also under the Ege Asal Metal umbrella, achieved significant success under Alpsoy.

In the village of Beşyol in Izmir, Alpsoy staged an unconventional fashion show with the celebrated models of the day, using tractors, ploughs and racing cars as the set, which made a huge splash on Turkey's three television channels of the time. The event received major media coverage under the headline "Come on, let's go to the fashion show in our village."
