Çağlayan Çelik Takes Podium at Hockenheimring

In the opening round of the Porsche Sports Cup Germany, held at the Hockenheimring in Germany, Toksport WRT fielded five of our drivers.
In Race 1 on Saturday 19 May, Ümit Ülkü, Berkay Besler and Bilal Saygılı all went off and retired, while Yıldıray Demircioğlu finished eighth in the 5E class.

In Race 2 on Sunday 20 May, Bilal Saygılı retired after a crash, while Berkay Besler finished eighth overall in the 5F class among 22 drivers, with Ümit Ülkü taking 13th.
Young driver Çağlayan Çelik, who will follow the Porsche Sports Cup Germany series this season, also competed in the 5E class. Backed by Warmhaus, Çelik finished second in his class at the Hockenheimring, claiming his first international success.
In the Porsche Super Sports Cup endurance race held the same day, the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup cars of Ümit Ülkü and Berkay Besler took third and ninth respectively in the 5F class, while the Çağlayan Çelik-Yıldıray Demircioğlu crew finished sixth in the 5E class.
