Spor Toto-backed TOSFED Turkish National Team driver Ayhancan Güven has returned successfully from round two of the Porsche Carrera Cup France and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, held as two races at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands on 19-20 May.
Ayhancan Güven Rules the Benelux Roost at ZandvoortAfter qualifying on Saturday 19 May, Güven started the first race from third on the grid and finished a hard-fought event fourth in the France class and first in the Benelux class. However, after the race the stewards handed the driver a five-second penalty for the car being ahead of the grid line before the start. As a result of the penalty, the young driver was classified seventh in the France class and fifth in the Benelux class.

Starting the second race on Sunday 20 May from second on the grid, Güven never let rival Julien Andlauer out of sight until the final lap and crossed the finish line in second, just 0.331 seconds behind. With this result, Ayhancan stood on the podium as France class runner-up and Benelux class winner, flying the Turkish flag on the podium...
Ayhancan Güven Rules the Benelux Roost at ZandvoortOur national driver will be in Anglet, France, on 23-25 May for the Porsche Carrera Cup Junior Camp. The third round of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux will take place at the Zandvoort circuit on 9-10 June.
