BOM Ready for 2016 Season

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport opens its 2016 season at Italy's legendary Imola circuit in the 3H Endurance Champions Cup with its new car, the BMW Z4 GT3.
The team, which has gained experience in endurance series through the 24H Dubai, 24H Barcelona, 6H Rome and 12H Hungaroring races, will this time line up in the Italian 3H Endurance Champions Cup, where it finished second last season, with the new BMW Z4 GT3. The first round of the five-race endurance programme will be run at Italy's Imola circuit on 2 April, and Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport will be on track with the BMW Z4 GT3 driven by Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık and Fatih Ayhan. With each stint at the wheel lasting around an hour, the drivers will battle both mentally and physically to complete the greatest number of laps and kilometres on the 4,909-metre circuit and its 22 corners.
The BMW Z4 GT3 that Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport has added to its fleet for the 2016 season has been developed specifically for endurance racing as well as sprint events, and has so far achieved significant success in series such as Le Mans, the 24H Endurance races and Blancpain. Standing out with its 4.4-litre V8 engine producing 515 hp, the BMW Z4 GT3 is an aggressive-looking racing car, its long front end and short body giving it distinctive proportions.
In the 2016 season, the team made up of İbrahim Okyay, Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık, Kaan Gürgenç and Fatih Ayhan will fight in every race they start not only for class honours but also for a place near the top of the overall classification with the BMW Z4 GT3.
