Timur and Diker Head to Kuwait Rally

The TOK SPORT WRT team will line up with the Yiğit Timur-Ufuk Uluocak and Vedat Diker-Erdal Oral crews at the International Kuwait Rally, the second round of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC), to be held on 25-27 March.

At the Kuwait Rally, 22 crews, 18 of them in Group N cars, will cover a total of 583 km, 212 km of which are special stages. TOK SPORT WRT, the only Turkish team starting the rally, is aiming for the top of the Group N classification in the Middle East Rally Championship this season with Yiğit Timur-Ufuk Uluocak. Timur, the first Turkish driver to compete in the World Rallycross Championship's RX Lites category, achieved a great result in the first year by finishing the season in fourth place. By finishing second in the championship's Finland round, the young driver became the "first and only Turkish" driver to take a podium in a World Championship in the history of Turkish motorsport, a feat that makes us proud, and will compete in Kuwait in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X.

Another Turkish crew, Vedat Diker-Erdal Oral, who also started the championship's opening round, the International Qatar Rally, will also be competing in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X.
