Victory Slips Away on Final Stage in Greece

The opening round of the 2018 East European Tout Terrain series, Rally Greece Offroad, was held on 18-20 May in Kastoria, Greece, with 31 vehicles and 62 competitors from 8 countries taking part.

Among the 4 Turkish crews, Ali Çetin-Fatih Eren, driving a Can Am Maverick, were the ones to complete the tough event, finishing sixth overall and second in the SSV class to take a place on the podium.

Ali Doğaner-Polat Emsen and Saim Tekin-Erkan Tekin retired on the first day, while Erkan Birinci-Arman Özdemir, who had led the overall classification from the first stage onwards, retired from the final stage with a mechanical problem.

The 2018 East European Tout Terrain series continues with BAJA 500 Romania on 22-24 June.
