Batı Ready for Porsche Italy Series

National team driver Batı Yıldırım, who has won countless titles at home and abroad in karting since 2016, is preparing to make a strong move into car racing in the 2025 season.

The 16-year-old Yıldırım, who will compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, Italy's most prestigious single-make championship, has begun preparations for the season. The young driver took to the track at the Porsche Experience Center in Italy and continued preparing for the series, which starts on 2-4 May, with training sessions run in heavy rain.

Batı, who is the youngest driver in the series and has also been accepted into the Porsche Junior Academy, will continue his preparations with testing at Misano on 14-15 March and at Imola on 22-23 March.

The series will begin on 16 April at the legendary Monza circuit with an official test day, the final pre-season preparation, and after the opening round at Misano it will continue at Vallelunga, Mugello, Imola, Misano and Monza.
We wish our driver every success as training continues in Istanbul and Italy in order to make a strong start to the series, which consists of six rounds and 12 races.
