Ayhancan Delivers Big Result in Spain

Ayhancan Güven, the 21-year-old national driver competing with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, Spor Toto and the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation, is returning from Spain with strong results after the 10-12 May event.
Ayhancan, the first Turkish driver to compete in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which runs as a support series to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, took a podium finish in the season-opening race at Barcelona. In a field of 28 drivers from 17 countries, Turkey's representative finished second and was classified as "Best Rookie", flying the Turkish flag on the podium in front of 140,000 spectators at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, widely regarded as the most competitive one-make series in the world, continues with round two in Monte Carlo on 23-26 May.
