TOSFED Baja Cup Starts at Körfez

The four-event 2019 TOSFED Baja Cup gets under way with the Körfez Baja Race, which will be organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation in Kocaeli on 25-26 May. With the TOSFED Körfez Race Track serving as event headquarters and service area, the event will be run over a total route of 384.2 kilometres, of which 218.2 kilometres are special stages. The Körfez Baja Race begins on Saturday 25 May with the start at 10:00 from the Körfez Race Track. The first day will see the 41.50-kilometre Teksen stage run twice before finishing at 17:45 with a spectator stage on the Körfez rallycross track.
On Sunday 26 May, the crews will tackle the 66.10-kilometre Belen stage twice from 10:00, before completing the race on the finish podium at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track from 16:30.The gap in the 2019 Turkish Off-road Championship between the opening two races and September will therefore be filled by the TOSFED Baja Cup... The second round of the cup will be organised in Denizli on 29-30 June by the Denizli Offroad Club (DENDOFF), while the season will conclude with events run by the Vezirköprü Offroad Club (VEZİROFF) in Vezirköprü, Samsun, on 27-28 July and by the Bursa Alternative Sports Club (BASK) in Bursa on 26-27 October.
