Ayhancan Takes Delivery of His Opel Astra

In the finals held at the İzmir Ülkü Park circuit on 19 March with Safari Motorsport's Opel Corsa OPC cars, Ayhancan Güven beat Can Tolon 2-1 after three starts, rising above strong and experienced rivals to claim the trophy. Güven received his trophy from Minister of Culture and Tourism Nabi Avcı and TOSFED President Serkan Yazıcı.

With this victory, Ayhancan won not only the specially designed championship trophy but also an Opel Astra HB 1.4 from Opel Türkiye, one of the event's sponsors, for a year's use. Speaking after the award ceremony, Opel Türkiye General Manager Özcan Keklik said: "We sincerely congratulate our young driver Ayhancan Güven and hope he enjoys driving the car we will be allocating to him for one year. Ayhancan proved to everyone today just how talented he is. I'm sure we will hear even more about his international successes in the coming period. I would also like to thank TOSFED for organising this event after a long break. With its new management, the federation has taken on a more dynamic structure and will play an important role in the development of motorsport in our country and in supporting many more young drivers like Ayhancan.
