Ayhancan Heading Out to Win

Ayhancan Güven, the 19-year-old Turkish national driver supported by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) and Spor Toto, will be at the Dijon circuit from 13-15 July for the third round of the Porsche Carrera Cup France.

Third in the Porsche Carrera Cup France overall standings after the first two races, the driver will be fighting to close the points gap to the leader.

Ayhancan, who was unable to race at Dijon last season, said this event would be a first for the driver, adding: "On Friday, in free practice, I'll be trying both to get the car's set-up right and to adapt to the circuit. On Saturday there will be the first qualifying session and the first race, and on Sunday the second qualifying session and the second race. I plan to challenge for the podium on Saturday, then go even quicker on Sunday and win the race. Of course this won't be easy, because I have very strong rivals. They know this circuit very well, they're experienced and they also race in different series. But we'll head out onto the track to do the best we possibly can."
