Sezer Preparing for Taşlık Rally

Turkish rally driver Selami Sezer, who finished third at the Liman Cup Mykolaiv Rally on 23-24 June 2018, is preparing to start the Taşlık Rally, which will be held on 28-29 July 2018.
The rally will run over a 120km route in the village of Taşlık, which was founded in 1813 in the Odesa Region through the settlement of various migrants of Turkish and Balkan origin. The opening programme will also include a cooks' cooking competition.

In a statement ahead of the event, Sezer said: "We will enter this rally with our own resources, without sponsor support. My co-driver will be Sergey Negreyev, a prominent Ukrainian sportsman. At this rally we will once again have gifts promoting Turkish culture and a variety of treats. On this occasion, I pray for mercy upon our martyrs who gave their lives for their homeland on 15 July 2016 and I extend my respects to our veterans. I thank everyone who supports us, first and foremost you, our media sponsors."
