Ayhancan Güven Steadily Climbing Towards the Top

Backed by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, Spor Toto, the Turkish Motorsport Federation (TOSFED) and Pierre Martinet, 21-year-old national driver Ayhancan Güven achieved another important result by finishing second in round seven of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup. After the race, held on 31 August-1 September on the 7-kilometre Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, Turkey's representative moved up to third in the championship standings and kept the lead in the rookie classification.

The other national driver, Berkay Besler, who started the race as a guest driver, finished 12th in his first Supercup experience after starting from eighth. Round eight of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup, which stands out as the most competitive single-make series in the world, will be held on 6-7 September at Monza in Italy.
