Atar Heads to Serres with Title in Sight

The champion of the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship Maxi Group, where a fierce battle is under way, will be decided in the final-round races at Greece's Serres circuit on 24-25 November. Experienced driver Galip Atar is aiming to win at Serres in his BMW Z4 GT3 and add another title to his career.
Galip Atar, a member of the national team competing in the Turkish Circuit Racing Championship Maxi Group in a BMW Z4 GT3, missed the opening round of the season and so starts the finale two races down in the standings. Atar closed that gap with strong performances in the following races and has taken the fight for the lead to the final weekend of the season. He will now head to the track in Greece intent on winning. Last year's Ferrari Challenge Europe champion and world third-place finisher is aiming to add yet another title to his career at the demanding 3,187-metre Serres circuit.
The event, which will feature seven drivers in the Maxi Group and ten in total, begins with the Round 5 races on Saturday 24 November. The Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will then conclude on Sunday 25 November, following Round 6, the final round of the season.
