100th Year Rally Heads to Çanakkale

Organised under the name "100th YEAR RALLY" with the sponsorship of the Çanakkale Mining Association (ÇAMAD) and the support of the Çanakkale Governorship, the event is also notable for being the first motorsport event to be held in the province.

Besides the Turkish Rally Championship, the rally also awards points in the Turkish Historic Rally Championship and the TOSFED Rally Cup. It starts on Saturday 16 May at 16:30 from Özgürlük Park. The asphalt rally will tackle stages in the Bayramiç Çan region. On the first day, the crews will take on the 8.70km Yahya Çavuş, the 14.75km 57th Regiment and the 16.20km Nezahat Onbaşı stages, before finishing the day in the parc fermé in the service area in front of the former Credit and Dormitories Institution building from 20:46.

The crews will resume the fight from 09:00 on the morning of Sunday 17 May, running each of the same special stages twice on the second day, as they battle to reach the finish podium at Özgürlük Park from 16:15.

The event is supported by the Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Çanakkale Commodity Exchange, with further contributions from Çanakkale Seramik, İçdaş, Teck, Kuzey Biga Madencilik, Esan, Kansu Grup, Pozitif Sondaj, Agola, Tüprag, Tümad, Spektra Jeotek, Ortadoğu Sondaj, Polimetal Madencilik and Mito Danışmanlık.
