The Istanbul Automobile Sports Club is staging Round 2 of the 2015 Turkish Hill Climb Championship on a new course on Saturday 9 May.

Held with Mapfre Genel Sigorta as title sponsor and with the support of Ford Otosa, İTO, TÜYAP, TTOK and Şile Municipality, the ISOK Hill Climb will take place on the Ovacık Village course, which is being used for the first time.

The event begins on Saturday 9 May with practice runs between 10:00 and 12:30, with the first start at 14:00. Competitors will tackle the 4.2-kilometre asphalt course three times, and the combined results of these runs will determine the classification in four separate categories.

As the first race of the season in Istanbul, the 2015 Turkish Hill Climb Championship event is eagerly awaited, and strong interest is expected from both competitors and motorsport fans.

GETTING TO THE COURSE (OVACIK VILLAGE)

From the Anatolian Side, take the FSM motorway and leave at the Çekmeköy exit. Continue towards Çekmeköy and Alemdağ, passing the BJK facilities on the left, and join the Şile motorway. Continue straight through the Alemdağ junction, Ömerli junction, Kömürlük, Kervansaray junction and Sahilköy junction in turn, carrying on towards Şile.

At the signalled junction where the Şile motorway ends, continue straight across towards Ağva-Teke. After 150 metres past the junction, turn right towards Ovacık-İmrendere. The start of the stage is reached after approximately 5.5 km.
