Yazıcı Re-Elected to World Motor Sport Council

Following the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) General Assembly held in Paris on 17 December, Mohammed Ben Sulayem of the United Arab Emirates was elected as the new president, succeeding Jean Todt after his 12 years in the role. TOSFED Honorary President Serkan Yazıcı was once again elected to the FIA World Motor Sport Council, while TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı will also sit on the council as a substitute member. Yazıcı Re-Elected to World Motor Sport CouncilFollowing the General Assembly, Yazıcı said: "I congratulate Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who won the election by a big margin. For a successful FIA administration, we too have been elected to the World Motor Sport Council once again, and our seat as Turkey continues. I thank everyone who voted for me and my country and made my election possible. We will continue to represent our country with pride on the FIA World Motor Sport Council."
