Good News from VLN

Among our competitors following the VLN series at Germany's Nürburgring, Mustafa Mehmet Kaya has added another success to his record by winning the six-hour endurance race. Backed by EAE Elektrik, Kaya took the SP8T class win in a Mercedes AMG GT4, his second victory of the season, lifting his points tally to 16.25 and moving up to second in the SP8T standings, two points behind the leader.
Another representative of our country in the series, Ersin Yücesan, finished round five of the series ninth in the V4 class. Competing in a BMW 325 for his new team rent2driveracing, which he joined from this race with ECU FAST sponsorship, Yücesan and his team-mates started from 22nd after a minor contact with a rival in qualifying, and worked their way up to ninth by sharing the driving. Following this race, Yücesan reached 23.42 points in the V4 standings and moved up to fifth.
Another of our representatives in the V4 class, Emir Aşarı, was unable to finish the race in his BMW 325 due to a mechanical failure.
Round six of the VLN season will be held on Saturday 7 September.
