The V2 Challenge, organised by 34 Spor Kulübü for amateur drivers, ended on 19 December with the third round at Körfez Race Track. Serhan Kayalar emerged as the fastest of those who entered the sport through Vollkicar, and as the master of Istanbul.

A total of 17 drivers took part in the V2 Challenge, now in its fifth season. Kayalar won the first race, Onat Telkenar took the second and Berk Durak won the third and final race. It was not only these three drivers who went into the last race with ambitions, as others had also scored strong results, but Kayalar took the title with 50 points and let nobody take it from him. Can Altınok finished second on 39 points behind Kayalar, while the winner of the last race, Berk Durak, was third with 37 points. The champion won a cash prize of 6,000 TL, the runner-up received 3,000 TL and the third-placed driver 1,000 TL.

Hatice Gönül, the only female driver in the V2 Challenge, which ran in November and December, completed all three races. New names hoping to catch the eye by winning the V2 Challenge raced with all their strength and courage. Serhan Kayalar, the Istanbul winner of the regionally organised V2 Challenge, is delighted with the result. The V2 Challenge is also regarded as Turkey's most successful amateur racing series for those who want to continue in motorsport after karting.

Organised to popularise the sport and help new racers emerge, the V2 Challenge will continue in the coming years. Meanwhile, Volkicar experience days continue at Volkan Işık Arena.
