Rivalry in V1 Continues in Izmir

The fierce battle in the Lassa V1 race at the Gulf circuit gave the first signals of a hot season to come. In the second race, to be held at the İzmirPark Ülkü Race Track on Sunday 31 May, the rivalry between the equally matched VOLKICAR drivers is expected to peak.

YAĞIZ AVCI LEADS, CAN TOLON A CONTENDER

In the opening race at the Gulf circuit, Yağız Avcı was the driver who took the chequered flag among 22 drivers and made a good start to the season. However, the contenders at the front will do everything they can to stop the gap from opening up at the Izmir race. In particular, Can Tolon, champion of the last two seasons and an Izmir native, is a strong contender on home soil! The drivers will fight to be the fastest from qualifying, which starts at 12:30, to gain an advantage. The battle will also continue in the Youth Cup and the Master Cup.

WHO WILL WIN THE RECORD PRIZE MONEY?

One of this year's surprises in Lassa V1 is the prize money! In Lassa V1, Turkey's first championship with prize money, the prize fund has been increased this year, with 10,000 TL for the winner, 4,000 TL for second place and 2,000 TL for third in every race.
