V1 Challenge Heads Back to Track on 18 September for Second Round

The excitement of the 2016 V1 Challenge season resumes at the Ülkü Park Race Track with the second round of the championship.
The cup will span six race weekends and 12 races in total, and the second round continues on Sunday 18 September with official practice from 11.30 to 12.00, followed by qualifying from 13.00 to 13.30. The first race will be run at 14.30 and the second at 16.00, with the weekend concluding with the podium ceremony at 16.30.
Successfully organised for five years, the cup is being run in 2016 by the İzmir Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü and is broadcast to motorsport fans on TRT Spor. After the opening round held in August, Çaykur Rizespor-backed Ayhancan Güven leads the standings on 37 points, with ISS driver Burak Çukurova second on 35 points and Bambi driver Adem Çetmen third on 22 points.
