TOSFED Rally Cup Kicks Off in Şile

The 2015 rally season begins with Rally34, organised by the 34 Otomobil Sporları Kulübü. First held last year to great acclaim, Rally34 returns on 28-29 March as the opening round of the TOSFED Rally Cup, once again on the much-loved, legendary stages of the Şile region.

Everything for the Competitors

The management of the 34 Spor Kulübü, which delivered a successful event in 2014, is continuing its preparations with the same "Everything for the competitor" approach. The rally will again run on stages around the villages of Teke and Yazımanayır, which have legendary status in the motorsport world, and a record number of competitors and spectators is expected, as last year.

Sponsored by Sparco Türkiye, Avitaş Ohlins Türkiye and EVO BT, the rally will once again have Şile host its start, service park and rally headquarters. Rally34 will be run over two stages, each tackled three times, and will offer an open class for test and nostalgia entries, including surprise participants.

Prizes for Successful Competitors

Keeping with tradition, event sponsor Sparco will again award 500 TL gift vouchers to the winning crews in a total of five categories. Competitors can also look forward to surprise discounts on purchases at the Sparco Istanbul Showroom.

Halid AVDAGİÇ, Motorsport Director of Avitaş, the Turkish distributor of Öhlins Suspension Systems, said they were proud of their partnership with Istanbul's youngest motor club, the 34 Otomobil Sporları Kulübü, and of supporting young and amateur drivers in competing on the right platform.

EVO BT, one of the leading companies in the mobile communications sector, will also support Rally34 again, as it did last year.

The Legendary Teke Stage Awaits Spectators

The rally will start with the Teke stage, which has earned legendary status in the hearts of many competitors and motorsport fans thanks to its fast character. This year the club management will continue the nostalgia with another legendary stage, Yazımanayır, named Sparco. With both stages run three times, Rally34 will cover a total distance of 206 km, including 80.10 km of special stages, and will finish in Şile.

As last year, the rally will be flagged away on the evening of Saturday 28 March from Şile Square by Mayor Can TABAKOĞLU.
