Timur Takes Victory

Round four of the Trofeo Abarth Challenge was held at the Autodromo Dell'Umbria circuit in Magione, Italy. Contested with Fiat 500s and known for its closely fought battles, the cup's fourth round saw FIAT Motorsports Turkey drivers Yiğit Timur, Fatih Kara and Kuzey Eroldu representing Turkey.
Round four was run over two separate races across the weekend. In the first race, Fatih Kara finished fifth, Yiğit Timur sixth and Kuzey Eroldu tenth. In the second race, Timur was the first driver to take the chequered flag, while Kara completed the race in fourth and Eroldu in eighth.

National driver Yiğit Timur, a source of pride for Turkey with international success in rallycross and rallying over the past two seasons, stood on the top step of the podium in round four of the Trofeo Abarth Challenge, scoring one of the most important results of his career.
After the race, Timur said: "The fourth round of the Trofeo Abarth Cup took place at the Magione circuit in Italy. After the first three races of the season, we have finally managed to finish first and take the top step of the podium. It was a fantastic weekend for our team. Many thanks to all our friends who support us. See you at the Red Bull Ring at the end of the month."
Round five of the Trofeo Abarth Challenge will take place at the Red Bull Ring on 24 July.
