BOSSEK Members Gather for Iftar Dinner

The traditional iftar dinner of the Bursa Automobile Sports Club, known as BOSSEK for short, was held at the Kültürpark Sadabad Palace with strong attendance from former and current members. Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) President Serkan Yazıcı was also present, and the problems facing motorsport were discussed at the table. BOSSEK President Atilla Beyhan thanked all the members who attended before handing the floor to TOSFED President Serkan Yazıcı. Saying that motorsport was in a poor state when they took over the role, Yazıcı said: "It has only been six months, but what I have seen is that motorsport will definitely get back on its feet. For motorsport to be strong, the clubs must be strong. I believe that with a strong federation and strong clubs, motorsport will certainly get back on its feet. Our number one priority right now is to strengthen the clubs. Then better events will be run, and both sponsor interest and competitor participation will increase. When we look at the events, it is purely volunteers who are working – I don't think there is another sport with this many volunteers."
