Champions to Be Decided in Izmir

The final races of the 2016 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship will be held at the Izmir Ülkü Park circuit on 15-16 October, alongside the V1 Challenge and Opel Corsa OPC Cup races. Organised by Ülkü Motorsporları Kulübü, the event will see Ülkü Motorsport, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport and Gedik Ebam Racing Team in action, and carries great importance as it will decide the champions in the Super and Maxi groups.
The opening day, Saturday 15 October, begins with scrutineering and technical checks. Following official practice and qualifying, the first races will take place: the Super Group at 15:45, the Opel Corsa OPC Cup at 16:30 and the Maxi Group at 17:15.
On Sunday 16 October, the second races will be held: the Super Group at 13:45, the Opel Corsa OPC Cup at 14:30 and the Maxi Group at 15:45. The same day will also see the first V1 Challenge race at 15:00 and the second at 16:20.
The event, which is expected to attract strong interest from motorsport fans in Izmir, who will be able to watch eight races in a single weekend, will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at 17:00.
